With this add-on, you add an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed generator to your store. This means that store visitors can subscribe to receive updates on the activity in your store in a friendly and habitual manner together with other news and notifications they daily receive.

To set up the RSS Feed add-on:
  1. In the administration panel, go to Add-ons > Manage add-ons. 
  2. Install the RSS Feed add-on (click on the Install button on the right).
  3. Click on the name of the add-on.
  4. In the Content editor input field, enter the editor's email and real name.

 

To enable visitors to subscribe to the RSS feed, you need to add an RSS icon to the storefront:

  1. In the administration panel, go to Design > Layouts. 
  2. Select the necessary location and grid.
  3. Click the + button and click on the Add block link. Open the Create New Block tab and click the RSS Feed block type button.
  4. In the Content tab, configure the RSS feed properties. The possible filling variants are: Pages, Products, News.  For the product RSS feed it is possible to specify a sorting type and display of necessary options

  5. Click the Create button.
