Adding a product filter

  1. In the administration panel, go to Products > Filters.
  2. Click the Add filter button (the button with the 'plus' icon) on the left and specify the following fields in the opened New filter window:
    1. Name - enter a filter name.
    2. Store - store to which a filter originally belongs.
    3. Pos. - enter a filter position.
    4. Show on home page - select if you want to display the filter on the Home page.
      NOTE: If this option is enabled, data about all products will be displayed on the Home page. Also the Dynamic filter will be shown on the Search products page in the storefront.
    5. Display type - choose the manner, in which a filter will be displayed on the screen.
    6. Number of displayed filter variants before the 'more' link - choose the number of filter variants you want to be displayed on theĀ  screen. The other variants will be hidden behind the 'more' link.
    7. Filter by - select by which feature or option you want to filter your products.


  3. Open the Categories tab.
  4. Click the Add categories button and add categories on which details pages this filter will be displayed.
    NOTE: If a category is selected, the filter will be displayed on its details page, and product data only of this category will be displayed there.


  5. Click the Create button.

To display the 'Product filter' block in the storefront:
  1. In the administration panel, go to Design > Layouts > Default.
  2. Click the + button in the necessary location and click Add block.
  3. Open the Create New Block tab and in the opened section click the Product filters button.
  4. Enter the block name (e.g. Product filter) in the General tab.
  5. Select the Content tab and press the Add filters button.
  6. In the opened window choose the select box of the desired filter and click the Add filters and close button.

  7. Click the Create button.
